“Aspiring young Picassos take note. There’s a bus traveling around Georgetown you’ll want to park your paintbrush in. Donated by the Friess family, the bus sports eco-friendly interiors courtesy of Amicus Green Building Center, a design by ACG Architects, and a build by volunteers from award-winning Georgetown-based, Superior Home Services, Inc. The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington (BGCGW) now has their very own traveling arts classroom.”

Superior Home Services,Inc. has recently finished production on the Artmobile, created for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington. The Artmobile program began with an idea to have a mobile art classroom to teach the arts to at risk youth. Daniel Steinkoler, president of Superior Home Services, Inc. and founder of the Men’s leadership group volunteered to construct the Artmobile. The Artmobile was constructed with donated materials from Amicus Green Building Center, pro bono architectural design work from ACG Architects and volunteer builders from Superior Home Services, Inc. The Artmobile was presented to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, at their annual ICON gala on October 26th 2011.
